Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the TipsyWisee mobile app (the "App") and its companion website, operated by TipsyWisee Kft. ("TipsyWisee", "we", "us").

By downloading, registering for, or using the App, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the App.

TipsyWisee is a free, social, voluntary self-tracking tool that helps you and your friends playfully follow how a shared night out is going — rounds, shared spending, target times, and memories.

TipsyWisee is NOT a medical or safety device. The App does not measure, estimate, or verify your blood alcohol level or degree of intoxication, and it cannot determine whether you are fit to drive or otherwise safe and well. The App relies entirely on the data you choose to enter yourself (e.g. how many rounds you've had); it does not verify or validate this data from a health or safety perspective.

Nothing displayed by the App — information, badges, statistics, or suggestions — replaces your own judgment or professional medical or official advice. Never drive after drinking alcohol, even if the App suggests you're "doing fine".

The App is intended only for people who are 18 years of age or older. We verify your eligibility based on the year of birth you provide at sign-up — we do not ask for your full date of birth.

By registering, you confirm that the information you provide (in particular your year of birth) is accurate and that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that turn out not to meet the age requirement, or that were created with false information.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and login credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, please notify us immediately at hello@tipsywisee.hu.

The Cheer Squad is an entirely optional (opt-in), two-way feature: a relationship between two users is only created when both sides accept the invitation. The feature exists to encourage and support — not to monitor or control.

Either side can end a Cheer Squad relationship at any time, with no need to give a reason, from the App settings. Ending it takes effect immediately and carries no consequences for either party.

You agree to use the Cheer Squad feature for its intended purpose, with respect and good faith — see the prohibited conduct listed in section 6.

When using the App, you agree that you will:

• provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering and maintaining your profile (except for your nickname, which can be made up);
• create an account only for yourself, and not share your access with anyone else;
• treat other users with respect, and not misuse the App's social features;
• comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

When using the App, you may not:

• impersonate someone else, or register with false information (e.g. a false year of birth);
• use the Cheer Squad or any social feature to harass, intimidate, control, or surveil anyone without their consent;
• disrupt the App's operation, exploit security vulnerabilities, or reverse-engineer or modify the App;
• share content through the App that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, or infringes the rights of others;
• use the App for unauthorized commercial purposes.

Any of the above may result in immediate suspension or deletion of your account, without notice.

The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will always operate error-free, uninterrupted, or be fit for any particular purpose.

TipsyWisee is not responsible for any decisions, conduct, or consequences (including, without limitation, any health, legal, or safety consequences related to alcohol consumption) arising from your use of the App, the information shown in it, or your interactions with other users. The App is a self-reflection and social tool — making responsible choices is always up to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising in connection with your use of the App.

We reserve the right to modify, expand, or discontinue features of the App at any time, or to discontinue the service entirely, subject to reasonable advance notice where practicable.

You can delete your account at any time from the App settings. We may also suspend or delete your account if you breach these Terms, in particular by engaging in any of the prohibited conduct listed in section 6.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email with reasonable notice before they take effect. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms and your use of the App are governed by the laws of Hungary. We aim to resolve any disputes amicably through direct discussion first; failing that, the Hungarian courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute.
